Take a step back in time at this hotel, which is nestled away from the bustle of the town and exudes a cinematic charm. It's a peaceful place, frequented mostly by French guests . During my visit, I ordered a coffee, which was priced similar to that of a city palace. Reflecting back, I wish I had engaged more with the staff, who appeared somewhat a bit « robotic » in their interactions. I will definitely go back to try the rooms and restaurant.

The villa josephine is located in a beautiful setting and serves delicious food. However, if you are a foreigner, be careful! They overcharged me for TWO bottle of wine, blaming their “unupdated menu” for the 32$ difference for each bottle. I ended up paying way more than expected for the wine and when I confronted the manager he simply said “my mistake” and did not offer me the difference in a refund. After the delicious food it truly left a bad taste in my mouth.

Remarkable property; unremarkable service!!!|As other reviewers have said, the grounds are simply gorgeous, and the decor is also lovely if your taste runs midcentury colonial. However, the service is atrocious, especially if you don't speak French or Moroccan!!!
